The support we have been providing to migrants and refugees for more than 24 years is usually not a one-time thing. We often accompany our clients for several years and offer many types of support. Donations made through our website are used to cover the costs of all statutory activities of the Ocalenie Foundation. If you are interested in supporting a specific cause, you can make a donation through dedicated pages:

• activities on the Polish-Belarusian border
• Welcome Home program
• the Refugees Welcome Poland program.

If you want to specify the exact purpose of the donation paid to our bank account, describe it in the title of the transfer, such as:  

• donation for statutory purposes
• donation to Refugees Welcome Poland program
• donation to Welcome Home program
• donation to Help Center for Foreigners
• donation to support activities on the Polish-Belarusian border
• donation to programs for children and youth.

We strongly encourage you to donate to our statutory purposes so that we can plan our expenses according to the current and often changing needs of our clients.

The Ocalenie Foundation is a public benefit organization and donations made to it are tax deductible. Those who wish to take advantage of the deduction for donations to a public benefit organization (such as the Ocalenie Foundation) must attach a PIT/O form to their tax return. 

The PIT/O is not a stand-alone declaration, it is submitted together with the appropriate PIT form. The PIT/O form should include the amount of donations made in the tax year and the details of the donated organization (name and address). 

You must have proof of payment of the donation to the bank account of the recipient. For more information on tax deduction of donations, visit the website of the Ministry of Finance.
